Zebra is a high-performance, general-purpose structured text indexing and retrieval engine. It reads structured records in a variety of input formats (eg. email, XML, MARC) and allows access to them through exact boolean search expressions and relevance-ranked free-text queries.

YAZ is a programmers’ toolkit supporting the development of Z39.50/SRW/SRU clients and servers. Z39.50-2003 (version 3) as well as SRW/SRU version 1.1 are supported in both the client and server roles. The SOLR webservice is supported in the client role through the ZOOM API.

The Net::Z3950::Simple2ZOOM module provides all the application logic of a generic "Swiss Army Gateway" between Z39.50 and SRU. It is used by the simple2zoom program, and there is probably no good reason to make any other program to use it. For that reason, this library-level documentation is more than usually terse.

This librarian project aims to collect images of book cover pages allowing users (libraries) to integrate them to their WebOPAC. Particular images are acquired by scanning book covers by participating libraries or downloaded from co-operating publishers. The project has been developed and is being used by a large number of Czech libraries - its main strength being its collaborative nature.

Librarian DB is a simple Web based library management system that keeps track of the books in a library. It tracks book title, ISBN, categories, etc... It permits adding/deleting/updating/searching. It is extremely flexible and extendible.

Masterkey: Drupal (MkDru) is an open source module for the Drupal CMS that embeds a fully themable metasearch interface. It can perform queries against one or more Z39.50, SRU/SRW and SOLR targets via Pazpar2, our likewise open search daemon. More sophisticated target management and other functionality can be obtained through integration with the MasterKey platform.

Metaproxy is a proxy front end server that presents a single Z39.50/SRW/SRU front end to multiple back end database servers. It can also work in conjunction with Index Data's library of gateways to access non-standard database servers.
